AGREEMENT BEGINS NEW FUTURE FOR WOODWARD'S BUILDING

VICTORIA — Premier Gordon Campbell and Vancouver Mayor Larry Campbell announced today that the provincial government and the city have reached agreement on the future of the Woodward's site in Vancouver. The agreement will result in the sale of the Woodward's building to the city for $5.5 million.

VICTORIA —The Commemorative Medal for the Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was awarded today to 211 outstanding British Columbians by Lt.-Gov. Iona Campagnolo and Premier Gordon Campbell during a ceremony at Government House.
