MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING ON FIRST NATIONS' HEALTH
Premier Gordon Campbell and Grand Chief Stewart Phillip sign a memorandum of understanding to significantly improve the health of First Nations people.

VANCOUVER — An agreement signed today between the Government of British Columbia, the First Nations Leadership Council, and the Government of Canada renews a commitment to improve the health of First Nations people and their communities in B.C.

WAR HERO'S PIPES RECEIVED IN CEREMONY AT LEGISLATURE
Premier Gordon Campbell joined Speaker Bill Barisoff and representatives of the Canadian Club, The Canadian Scottish Regiment (Princess Mary's) and the Richardson Family for a ceremony celebrating the repatriation of the bagpipes of James Richardson, VC.

VICTORIA — The bagpipes of James Richardson, the only Canadian piper to be awarded the Victoria Cross, were received by Premier Gordon Campbell and Speaker Bill Barisoff at a special ceremony on the steps of the B.C. legislature, where they will be placed on public display.
