Amended Working Alone or in Isolation Regulations begin February 1st
Amendments to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation to improve the health and safety of workers that are working alone or in isolation take the effect of law beginning February 1, 2008.
Implementation of new working alone or in isolation provisions
Changes to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation dealing with working alone and fuel prepayment will become law on February 1, 2008. Those affected by or interested in the changes are encouraged to read the following information.

New version of claim reporting form for employers now available
WorkSafeBC has launched a new downloadable and paper version of the Employer’s Report of Injury or Occupational Disease (Form 7). Please be sure to use only this newest version of the form.

Changes to WorkSafeBC’s Forestry Regulations to take effect Spring 2008
The Board of Directors of WorkSafeBC approved amendments to the forestry section of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation and directed that these new standards be deposited with the Registrar's Office as soon as possible resulting in an effective date of May 1, 2008.
The Board of Directors' decisions in December 2007 regarding proposed amendments to Part 26, Forestry Operations, with consequential amendments to Part 1, Definitions, and Part 4, General Conditions of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation are available for review.
