Services for Victims

Victim Services assists victims of crime throughout their involvement in the criminal justice system.

If you are a victim of crime, you may need one or more of the following services:

  • information about the status of your case and the criminal justice system
  • short term counselling and emotional support
  • referrals
  • court preparation
  • help in preparing a victim impact statement
  • assistance under the Victims of Family Violence Act
  • financial information
  • coordination of services
