Employee Performance & Recognition

The Yukon government has a vision of being a results-oriented employer of choice, focused on service to the public.

Employee performance management and employee recognition are two key strategies which will assist the organization in achieving this vision.

This section of the website contains information on:

  • employee performance management: currently this information is primarily forms, however, at a later date we will be providing more comprehensive information which both employees and their supervisors can use to make the most of the performance review process;
  • employee recognition programs:
  1. the APEX framework which describes the overall structure, principles, objectives, guiding parameters, and recognition criteria for awards programs in the Yukon government,
  2. the Premier's Award of Excellence, and
  3. the long service awards.
