Welcome to the search page for the various businesses regulated by the BPCPA. You can use the searches below to query currently licensed businesses. You can also search for any businesses that have an inactive licence, have had a licence application refused, or a licence suspended or cancelled. Use the links below to access the search you are interested in.

Active licence search - Use this search to check for a business that has an active license with the BPCPA. This includes collection agents, bailiffs, debt poolers, funeral providers, cemeteries, crematoria, travel agents, travel wholesalers, telemarketers, theatres, video retailers, and motion picture distributors.

Inactive licence search - Use this search to check for businesses that may have closed, voluntarily cancelled or let their licenses expire in the last 12 months. These businesses are not licensed to conduct business in BC. If you locate a business on this list that is still operating in BC, or that you believe may be operating without a licence, please send us an email operations@bpcpa.ca.
