The Ministry of Transportation is working with the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Authority (BPCPA) to provide telephone and web-based services where concerns and comments regarding Metro Vancouver taxi services can be directed. The BPCPA's role is to receive, respond, track and refer inquiries and complaints related to taxi services in Metro Vancouver. The BPCPA promotes a fair marketplace for consumers and businesses in BC and was created to strengthen consumer protection in the province. BC's consumer protection laws provide the framework to help the BPCPA protect consumers. Through this website and toll-free inquiry line, the BPCPA provides BC's public with information on how to become more informed consumers.
Submitting a comment or concern about taxi service in Metro Vancouver Non-emergency comments or complaints should be reported as soon as possible through the BPCPA Inquiry Centre at 1-888-564-9963 (toll free). You can also use this form to submit a comment or concern in writing by mail or by fax. When contacting the BPCPA about a taxi service, please provide your name and as much detail as you can on the 4 W's: - Who? Company name, taxi number and name of driver

- Where? Location where the incident occurred
