What's New
  • Quick-to-Learn, Quick-to-Use Business Training

The Spring 2008 season of Seminars and Brown Bag Presentations is poised to be an attendance record breaker. Out of the 17 seminars this season, 10 are new topics. We've got some great Marketing and Sales seminars covering government procurement and customer service. Spring also means tax time for all you sole proprietors but, don't worry, we've got you covered with income tax basics and a new workshop on using your financial statements when making business decisions.

This season we have 24 English Brown Bag Presentations. One that promises to be interesting this month, is Fraud-Proofing your Business, February 14. The number of scams in the market grows every day and by attending this free one-hour session, you can learn to reduce your risks and not fall prey to the unscrupulous individuals out there.

Le Conseil de développement économique de l'Alberta is partnering with The Business Link again to offer two Brown Bag presentations in French. We are also offering a Brown Bag and a Seminar in Spanish for the first time ever this season.

A lot has changed but, we'll still be offering all our sessions via video conference in Edmonton and Calgary. Sessions are still available throughout the province at our regional video conference sites. Locations can be found here. Please note that if you are planning to attend a session at a regional site, call that site first to check availability and to register.
