Transfer to the government of the bridges on the network of municipalities having 100,000 inhabitants or fewer
4281 bridges located on the municipal network of 904 municipalities are henceforth under the full responsibility of the Ministère des Transports. The Department's obligations include making inspections, structural evaluations, repairs, replacements and the regular upkeep of these structures, as well as monitoring the evolution of the condition of this portion of the set of structures under its responsibility. The Department has also undertaken to incorporate the information concerning the bridges of the municipal road network in its web site.
