PEI Dialysis Program

The PEI Dialysis Program is a community based service which operates under the medical direction and supervision of the nephrology team at the QEII Health Sciences Center in Halifax. Two types of dialysis service, peritoneal and hemodialysis, are provided to Islanders with the assistance and support of registered home care nurses.

Dialysis services are coordinated provincially through the PEI Dialysis Coordinator.
