Reporting Child Abuse

Where can I report child abuse?

Child welfare services are provided in Prince Edward Island through the authority of the Child Protection Act, Section 22 and the administration of the provincial director of child welfare.

Services include receiving of child protection referrals, screening, investigation, services to reduce and eliminate the child protection concerns, services for children in care, foster care and other residential resource services, adoption and related services, i.e. birth parent counselling and referral to provincial post-adoption services.
