2007-2008 Campaign against Pathological Gambling

The Ministère has launched a new media campaign targeting gamblers at risk of developing a problem with excessive gambling and their families. The campaign's three radio messages aim at showing that prompt action can prevent pathological gambling if the indicators that occur in the most common situations of daily life are recognized.

People who recognize their own situations through the broadcast messages and others who are concerned about a family member can get help by calling this toll-free number: 1-800-461-0140. The Web site www.AideJeu.com also has useful information about pathological gambling and helping resources in every region of Québec.
