Summary

The Customs Act governs the administration and enforcement of customs laws. The Act specifies reporting requirements for import and export, establishes duties, drawbacks and refunds, and contains general provisions regarding customs and enforcement.

The Submission of Samples of Fabrics for Importation Regulations state that all people who import fabrics must ensure that they attach a sample of every quality or style of the imported fabrics to the accounting document. Some fabrics are specifically excluded from this requirement, under the Schedule attached to the Regulations.
