Trade Facilitation Office Canada (TFOC) is a not-for-profit organization* founded by the Government of Canada to help improve the economic well-being of developing countries through increased integration into the world economy.

TFOC receives funding from the Canadian International Development Program (CIDA), international development agencies and private organizations to provide trade and investment related technical assistance to developing and transition countries.

  • Government departments
  • Export promotion agencies

Summary

TFOC services available to qualified importers include:

  • information on new sources of supply from TFOC's database of 1 600 exporters from client countries;
  • access to incoming missions of exporters;
  • the opportunity to participate in outgoing buying missions of Canadian importers to client countries.

Canadian importers who wish to receive these free services may do so by completing a registration/profile form available at the Web site address Registration (under More Information).
