Mandate
To promote victim safety by:

• Notifying victims and civil restraining order protected parties regarding the provincial custody status of offenders (See Frequently Asked Questions for more information)
• Administering the Victim Travel Fund
• Representing victims' perspectives and interests on the provincial High Risk Recognizance Advisory Committee
• Administering the Cell Phone and Home Alarm program
• Working with local victim service programs to ensure victims are aware of and have access to the range of services to ensure their safety
