Set your Reduction Goal

Set a goal for cutting your energy use, and then track your progress.

   

 Shower for 1 minute less if you have an electric water heater

 Switch your 5 most used lights to CFL's

 
   

 Hang your clothes to dry

 Turn down your thermostat by 1 degree if you have electric heating

 
   

 Switch your computer & monitor off when not in use

 Unplug or get rid of your second fridge

 
   

 Use a combination of the tips above to achieve this level of reduction
