Fraud

Most fraud is conducted over the phone (Telemarketing), by mail and recently by e-mail over the Internet. The RCMP monitors these closely through its Economic Crime Program.

The Economic Crime Program delivers the following police services and develops related crime prevention strategies - Commercial Fraud, Federal Statutes and Programs, Technological Crime & Securities Fraud.
