All permits are one way only with the exception of Fuel Permits.

What permits do I need, and how much are they?

Freight Vehicle Permits
Issued to vehicles in lieu of valid registration for pick up or drop off in Yukon.
Cost: $60 plus $3.00 per metric ton on the total (not registered) GVW.

Through Freight Permits
Issued to commercial vehicles travelling through Yukon, with no pick up or drop off.
Cost: $60.00 per trip.

Overdimensional Permits
Issued to oversize commercial vehicle.
Cost: $5.00

Overweight vehicle permits
The cost of the permit is found in HR 16(2) and is $15.00 plus four cents per tonne per kilometer of travel in excess of the legal weight.

Fuel Permits
(Yukon is not part of IFTA)
$0 .04 per km traveled in Yukon if fuel capacity is 50 imperial gallons or more.

Bus Permits
Issued to commercial passenger busses travelling through the Yukon with no pick up or drop off of passengers. (No Yukon plate)
Cost: $25.00
