How Can I Pay a Fine?

You may pay motor vehicle, Criminal Code and territorial offence fines in several locations:

Whitehorse

In person:

Court Services - Court Registry, Law Courts, ground floor, 2134 Second Avenue, Whitehorse between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday (cash, cheque, VISA, MasterCard or debit card [Interac])

After hours:

Leave a cheque/money order for payment in the slot located near the front doors of the Law Courts at the Second Avenue entrance

By mail:

Court Services, J-3

Cheques should be made out to "Territorial Treasurer" or "Government of Yukon"

Dawson City

In person:

Dawson City Court Registry - Museum Building, Dawson City between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Monday to Friday (cash or cheque only)

Territorial Agent, Red Feather Saloon building during their business hours (cash, cheque, VISA, MasterCard or debit card)

VISA or MasterCard payments can also by made by phoning Court Services in Whitehorse at 1-800-661-0408, extension 3039 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday

Watson Lake

In person:

Watson Lake Court Registry at 820C Adela Trail (Pejest Building), between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Monday to Friday (cash or cheque only)

Territorial Agent, Watson Lake liquor store during store hours (cash, cheque, VISA, MasterCard or debit card)

VISA or MasterCard payments can also be made by phoning Court Services in Whitehorse at 1-800-661-0408, extension 3039 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday

Other communities outside Whitehorse

Territorial agents and Yukon Housing Corporation offices outside Whitehorse (cash, cheque, VISA, MasterCard or debit card)
