How do I get information about changing the registered office address?

To change the registered office address of a corporation, please contact the Consumer, Corporate & Insurance Division of the Office of the Attorney General.

Change of Registered Office in P.E.I.

Any company incorporated under the Companies Act must have a registered office in the province. (Section 67 of the Companies Act.)

If a corporation wishes to change the address of the registered office, a Notice of Change of Registered Office must be filed with the Office of the Attorney General. There is no fee for this process.
