Introduction
The Ministry of Forests and Range (MOFR) is responsible for setting data specifications and maintaining information on the forest resources of British Columbia.
Our three member team, located at MOFR headquarters in Victoria was established in May, 2006 to provide technical leadership, support and service on remote sensing and related geospatial technologies to Forest Analysis and Inventory Branch (FAIB) staff (primary clients) and MOFR regions/districts. The focus of our work includes, applications in Vegetation Resource Inventory (VRI), update, monitoring and analysis.
