This Division is responsible for the delivery of the programs and services: five community hospitals, Provincial Home Care Program, long-term care (public manors/facilities), Provincial Dialysis Program and Provincial Geriatrics Services. Programs and services in acute care will be administered through five Community Hospital Boards: Souris, Montague, Tyne Valley/East Prince, O'Leary and Alberton. Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Prince County Hospital and Hillsborough Hospital are provincial in scope and will be administered through the Department of Health.
