On August 2, Minister Abbott announced the allocation of the $100-million Health Innovation Fund to B.C.'s six health authorities. "Health professionals and administrators across the province have responded to the Health Innovation Fund with exciting pilot project proposals to improve and share best practices, restructure delivery systems and eliminate key information bottlenecks that slow patient care," said Abbott.
