Solid as a Rock
Admire Baie Éternité where immense rock faces shaped by glaciers rise up 350 metres in the air and plunge 276 metres into the obscure waters of the Saguenay Fjord. Be on the look-out! The park's ghost is watching you. The peregrine falcon, the park's avian emblem, nests serenely in the steep mezzanine of Cap Trinité.
The Dunes - So Soft and Fragile
Baie du Moulin à Baude near Tadoussac offers an exceptional panorama of a huge maritime area inhabited by the world's largest mammals. The heritage of the last major glacier contributed to the creation of two immense marine terraces, commonly known as the Dunes. What's more, the scope of the migratory phenomenon gave birth to the Tadoussac bird observatory.
Our Friends the Whales
All summer long Baie Sainte-Marguerite invites you to observe the St. Lawrence beluga as this marine mammal goes about its day-to-day activities. You will also marvel at the red pine forest sculpted by Mother Nature as if by enchantment.
Admire the Park from the Heart of the Saguenay
Come let the tides of one of the world's longest fjords lull you as you take part in a sea kayaking excursion. Fourteen campgrounds located all along the fjord ensure kayaking enthusiasts a good night's sleep.
Your Shoes are Made for Walking
Explore a network of backpacking trails that extends over more than 100 km. These trails will take you to an outdoor paradise, where you can spend the night at a primitive campsite or in a cozy hut. You will be surprised at the exceptional view of the fjord and the comfort afforded by the three huts of Le Fjord trail.
The Fjord, from Past to Present
Take part in the interpretation programs offered on both shores of the fjord. Three Interpretation and Visitors Centres present the many facets of the park. You will discover remarkable geological, historical and ecological phenomena!
Fully-Equipped Cabins
The cabins, which are located at the park entrance, will allow you to combine practicality and pleasure. You'll be just a few steps away from nature as it was meant to be.
