 Location
Parc national de Miguasha is within the municipalities of Nouvelle and Escuminac, in the MRC of Avignon, in the southwestern corner of the Baie-des-Chaleurs region. The park is 22 km from the town of Carleton, 235 km from Percé, 325 km from Gaspé, and 240 km from Rimouski.
Access and Operating Period
You can get to the park by turning off highway 132 either in the municipality of Nouvelle or in the municipality of Escuminac. You'll have to drive 6.3 km from Nouvelle and 9 km from Escuminac.
Open year round:
- From June 1 to August 31, 2007: every day from 9 AM to 6 PM
- From September 1 to October 8, 2007: every day from 9 AM to 5 PM
- From October 9 to December 21, 2007: Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to noon and from 1 PM to 4:30 PM
- From January 8 to May 31, 2008: Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to noon and from 1 PM to 4:30 PM
Public Transit
The park isn't accessible by public transit. You can, however, reach the village of Nouvelle by bus or train.
 Access to Persons with Disabilities
The Natural History Museum, the Le Dévonien restaurant, and the L'Échoppe shop are accessible to disabled people.
