Canoeing and Sea Kayaking

A boat ride takes you into the fascinating world of the waters that bathe the Îles de Boucherville.

Introduction to sea kayaking lessons are available every Saturday morning, from May 19 to September 30, 2007. Basic initiation, discovery of the site, safety rules and practical advice are some of the items on the menu.

Canoe and kayak rentals on site.
Period: From mid-May to the beginning of October, 2007

Guided Sunset Tours l

Sunset time is a magnificent moment in the channels surrounding the islands and marshes within them. This is why this year, the Parc national des Îles-de-Boucherville have planned guided sea kayak tours at day's end, every Thursday. Whether you are a beginner or an expert at this sport, kayaking is an activity for everyone who loves nature. A brief introduction to navigation techniques is provided.
Period : From June to August 2007

Golf

Located on the park's territory (île à Pinard), a public golf course allows enthusiasts to enjoy a round of golf on the 18-hole par 70 course (6,100 yards). Bar, coffee shop, clubhouse, showers, lockers, shop, and equipment rental
Period: From May to November 2007

Hiking and Cycling

Hikers and cyclists can discover the site's most beautiful attractions on the 20-km "multi-purpose" trail network, while enjoying picnic areas, magnificent viewpoints and self-guided discovery activities. The relatively flat relief of the islands will suit the entire family.

Close to 10-km of "rustic" trails offer a unique hiking alternative. Since the surface of these trails is mown grass, only walkers are authorized to use them. Three rustic trail loops are located on Île Sainte-Marguerite: Grand-Duc (1.5 km), Petite Rivière (2.5 km) and Grande Rivière (4 km). Île aux Raisins has a 3.5-km loop (departure from the observation tower on Île de la Commune).

You can rent bicycles, trail-a-bikes and child chariot carriers on site, from mid-May to the beginning of October, 2007

Period: From April 1 to November 30, 2007
Only Île Sainte-Marguerite (7 km)  is accessible from April 1 to May 12 and from October 29 to November 30, 2007
