Backcountry Skiing and Snowshoeing

Backcountry skiing may be practiced, at Parc national des Îles-de-Boucherville, on ungroomed trails. Île Sainte-Marguerite offers skiing and snowshoeing enthusiasts more than 7 kilometres of trails in a very peaceful setting where you have a good chance of observing white-tailed deer as they roam freely in their habitat. Snowshoes are available for rent on site.

Hiking

Visitors love the rustic 5-km trail, designed especially for hiking.

This magnificent marked and groomed trail, reserved exclusively for hikers, offers three choices: Le Grand Duc (1.5 km), La Petite Rivière (2.5 km) and La Grande Rivière (4 km). The departure point for all three is the Discovery and Visitors Centre.
