Outdoor Activities - Summer and Fall

Apple Picking

Beautiful, crisp and succulent apples are ripe for the picking in the park's orchard. The apple orchard produces several varieties, such as Empire, Sunrise, Honeycrisp, Macintosh, Cortland, Lobo, Golden Russet and Delicious. There are also a few plum and pear trees to pick from!

Apples, regional products and delicious pastries made on site are on sale at the outdoor kiosk, which you'll find near the Visitors Centre. A shuttle service between the parking lot and the orchard is also offered for free. Everyone is welcome!

Open from August 25 to mid-October 2007 (closed Mondays)
Picking hours: From Tuesday to Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM, on weekends and civic holidays: from 9 AM to 6 PM.

The IRDA (Institut de recherche et de développement en agroenvironnement) is in charge of the environmental management of the park orchard.

Hiking

A 27-km network of trails circles the following lakes: Lac Seigneurial, Lac des Bouleaux, Lac des Atocas, Lac du Moulin and Lac de la Tortue. Hikers can discover the natural beauty of Mont Saint-Bruno. Several points of interest are sure to charm -the Old Mill and its permanent exhibit, the moonstone, the Arboretum, and a unique view of Montréal. Also, a new 3.5-km hiking trail, starting from the Visitors Centre, now offers a more rustic alternative. You can also do a shorter loop of 1.5 km within this circuit.

Period: From April 1 to November 30, 2007
