on hand if you require assistance using the job search tools.
Multiservice room
The multiservice room is divided into three area.
The waiting area, where you'll find:
- the Online
Placement service,
which lists job offers in Québec and elsewhere in Canada and which matches employee skills with employer needs. You may also post your skills profile or make changes to it.
- the Sécurité du revenu bank that allows you to consult income security decisions handed down by the Tribunal administratif du Québec (TAQ) and superior tribunals since 1998. The integral text of each decision and related summary are filed by theme to facilitate your search using a computer terminal.
- information brochures and folders on financial and employment assistance services.
- bulletin boards where notices on job openings, training courses, and information workshops are posted.
- telephones, faxes, and photocopiers that you can use to contact employers and send out your résumé.
The documentation area, which has a collection of employment
lists, directories, and specialized publications and where
you’ll
find
- Information on labour requirements for your region.
- Computers to draft your résumé or presentation
letter or to visit job search sites on the Internet.
