Outdoor Activities - Summer and Fall

Swimming
Important: Swimming Prohibited Until Further Notice

The beach is a real attraction during the hot summer months. After a refreshing swim in a relaxing setting, the sandy shore is great for suntanning. It's truly irresistible!
Period: From May 26 to September 1, 2007

Canoeing and Other Boating Activities

On warm, sunny days, the lake comes to life with canoes, rowboats, kayaks and pedal boats, and the presence of Ring-billed Gulls that dot the waters.
Period: From May 12 to October 8, 2007

Fishing by the Day

You can fish for yellow perch, smallmouth bass, chain pickerel, sunfish, and catfish in Choinière reservoir (4.5 km²). A Québec fishing licence is required.
Period: According to species, opening dates of the fishing season must be respected

Cycling

More than 18 km of designated bike paths (unpaved) in the heart of a 250-km cycling trail network.
Period: From April 1 to November 30, 2007
