List of Birds

The majority of the 55 km² of the territory that Mont Mégantic covers is first and foremost a woodland ecosystem. Indeed, numerous species of birds associated with this ecosystem are observed here. The absence of a major hydrographic system limits the observation of aquatic wildlife. However, the high peaks provide visitors with the opportunity to see birds of prey gliding through the air. Here is the list of the 131 species of birds that have been surveyed in the park.
