Premier Campbell announces the $1-billion BC Rail Investment Partnership, bringing jobs and new economic opportunities to northern B.C. communities.

VICTORIA — The Province announced it has selected CN as the successful proponent for a new BC Rail Investment Partnership that will generate $1 billion in investment for B.C., help to revitalize the BC Rail system and create opportunities for economic development and job creation in the North.

B.C.-CHINA MOU EXPANDS EDUCATION EXCHANGE OPPORTUNITIES

BEIJING, CHINA — A memorandum of understanding on educational co-operation signed today by Premier Gordon Campbell and Zhou Ji, Minister of Education for the People's Republic of China, will help expand B.C.'s successful offshore school program and build stronger ties between B.C. and China.
