CURLING VENUE GROUNDBREAKING
Premier Campbell joined Vancouver Mayor Sam Sullivan, VANOC chair Jack Poole, representatives of the Four Host First Nations, and other dignitaries for the official groundbreaking of the Hillcrest Curling Venue on February 23, 2007. The venue will host both curling and wheelchair curling events during the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

RAISING OF THE OLYMPIC AND PARALYMPIC FLAGS
VICTORIA — The official flags for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games were raised outside the legislature in Victoria this afternoon by Premier Gordon Campbell, who was joined by Speaker Bill Barisoff, Colin Hansen, Minister Responsible for the Olympics, John Furlong, VANOC CEO, and local B.C. athletes.

PREMIER HELPS UNVEIL FOUR HOST FIRST NATIONS LOGO FOR 2010
Premier Gordon Campbell congratulated Squamish Nation artist Jody Broomfield, who designed the official logo for the Four Host First Nations of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The logo was unveiled in a special ceremony at the Tourism BC 2010 Aboriginal Business Summit in Vancouver.
