The Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture is pleased to invite you and all leaders in agriculture and rural communities to a dynamic conference - the 2008 Rural Leaders Conference - Creating Partners - Building Communities.

Key note speakers will be:

  • Michelle Payn Knoper, Cause Matters Corporation

  • Kevin Stewart, AG Vision INC. - What is the Cost of Doing Nothing?

Both speakers recently presented at the 2007 National Agriculture Awareness in London, Ontario and received rave reviews!

Anyone involved in agriculture organizations working towards the betterment of rural Nova Scotia are eligible to attend such as 4-H leaders, Women's Institutes of Nova Scotia, agriculture awareness committee members, farmers, industry groups, agriculture awareness teachers and other rural organizations. It's an excellent opportunity to have a winter get away while networking with other community leaders and learning new things to strengthen your role in your community organization.

Mark your calendars for February 7 - 9, 2008 for the 2008 Rural Leaders Conference in Halifax, Nova Scotia which will celebrate agriculture, create valuable partnerships and build stronger rural communities.

Hand Bullet Early Bird Registration deadline is December 7, 2007!!
$100 must accompany registration form. Early Bird names will be entered into a draw for a free registration to the conference. Late registration will be $110.
Star Bullet Final registration date is January 4, 2008! Money will not be refunded after January 4, 2008.
