Parks are for People Programs A wide assortment of events will be taking place in the Parks are for People program. Select the type(s) of event and the month you are interested in viewing. To see all of the events for a particular month just choose the month you want and don't choose an event type. To see a list of Events taking place in a particular park visit the park 's web page. More detailed information can be found in the Parks are for People brochure available from the Department of Natural Resources offices, museums, provincial park campgrounds, recreation departments, hotels/motels and tourist bureaus. Remember to dress appropriately for the events and to bring sunscreen, insect repellant, personal field guides, binoculars, cameras and your sense of adventure. Some events require advance registration and many have rain dates.
