We're committed to making government services more accessible and more convenient for you and we're continuously looking for ways to serve you better. The department also maintains the legislative framework in which municipalities operate and provides advice, assistance and program support to municipalities. Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations has offices in 54 communities across the province. Some specialize in deeds, some in assessment and some offer an array of services like driver licensing, residential tenancies, vehicle registration and debtor counseling. We know you're busy too during the day, so we've extended office hours at our locations that offer Registry of Motor Vehicles services on Wednesday through Friday until 7:00 pm, or you can call us during these times at 424-5851, toll free 1-800-898-7668. We're also available to help you by phone. You can find out about virtually any government program or service through our Call Centre, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at 424-5200 or toll free in Nova Scotia 1-800-670-4357. And of course services and information are at your fingertips 24 hours a day from our web site.
