Conserving Values Identified in Land Use Plans
By killing the most widespread tree species in many land use plan areas, the
mountain pine beetle epidemic has consequences for cultural, agriculture,
tourism, conservation, wildlife habitat and biological diversity objectives.
These objectives have been taken into account in the mitigation plan.
