	Discovering the Park

At the Heart of the Valley

Admire the stunning panorama of Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier. The park is home to cliff walls over 550 metres high, abundant vegetation and a river whose waters can be both calm and tumultuous. This ever-present river runs through the centre of the park and dominates the landscape.

On the Log-Drivers' Trail

Take the Draveurs trail and discover this vestige of a rich history of forestry, which goes back to the 19th century. Since the territory was difficult to access back then, the river played its part in contributing to transporting wood. It was the era of log driving, but also of the construction of dams, roads and camps. The spirit of these brave loggers can still be felt in the park today ...

A Voyage into the Heart of the Massif

Take a stroll in the valley. Nearly 100 kilometres of trails invite you to discover the park's many natural treasures. Spectacular views, green underbrush, majestic forests and refreshing waterfalls await you.

When Everything Turns White

In the winter, the massif becomes a land of snow. With 6 metres of snowfall per year, the park offers ideal conditions for backcountry skiing, snowshoeing or snow hiking. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, this is the place for revelling in the joys of winter.

The Jacques-Cartier, a River School

Have fun on the river! Jacques-Cartier River plays host to novice and expert kayaking and canoeing enthusiasts, offering them a course extending over 26 km and allowing them to indulge in their favorite pastime.

A Well-Deserved Rest

To take full advantage of the park, treat yourself to a stay on a campsite, prospector camp, rustic shelter or in a cabin. You'll be sure to have a great rest in this peaceful environment.
