Discovery Activities

Park wardens have a wide range of activities in store for those of you who are passionate about history and nature. Every day, they travel around the Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier to perfect their knowledge. Whether they accompany you in canoes, rabaskas or on foot, our park wardens will be very happy to share their knowledge and their most recent discoveries with you.

Discovery and Visitors Centre

The Discovery and Visitors Centre is the park's "knowledge central." Tucked in alongside the Jacques-Cartier River and offering an outstanding view of the river corridor, the centre proposes exhibits, evening talks and various activities that will allow you to become better acquainted with the park's main attractions. Hours vary depending on the season and day of the week.

Self-guided trails

The Self-guided trails allow you to discover the various components of the natural environment at your own pace. Interpretation panels line certain trails, and brochures are distributed free of charge at the Interpretation and Visitors Centre.

Bétula's Rally: A Mysterious Inquest for the Whole Family.
Young Explorers! Bétula, the queen of the deciduous forest of Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier, invites you to go back in time and discover the riches of the territory in which she lives.
