1. View/Browse/Search/Find Tutorial
  • 1. The 'View' feature lists water sheds by station name.
  • 2. The 'Browse' feature browses the complete list of water sheds by Station Name that has data available to the general public.
  • 3. The 'Search' feature searches water sheds by either name or id. Results that match the query are displayed once 'Go' has been clicked. For more information on how to interpret the search results, please review Tutorial 2 below.
  • 4. The 'Find' feature browses water sheds near a community. Water sheds near a community will be listed on the following page. For more information on how to interpret the search results, please review Tutorial 2.

2. Search Result Tutorial
  • 1. The 'Search Term' is the keyword(s) that is queried.
  • 2. The 'Search Results' is a listing of matches based upon the query keyword(s).
  • 3. The 'Download Raw Data' button will download all raw data for all the search results. The file will be a ZIP file, and when uncompressed, can be viewed using WordPad, OpenOffice.org or another text editor that can interpret a tab delimited list.

3. Graph Tutorial
  • 1. The 'Download' button downloads all raw water data for a requested station in the form of a tab delimited text file to the viewers local pc.
  • 2. The 'Print' button will open a new window with a *printer friendly* version of the data. The print version is in black and white and does not include graphics.
  • 3. The 'View' button will open a new window with a map of Prince Edward Island. The map application provides a means of navigating throughout the Island to view water sheds from a graphical perspective. Zoom in for more detail.
  • 4. Different 'Data' has been recorded at water sheds throughout the Island. To view these on a graph, click on an element and the graph will redraw the data.
  • 5. The 'Graph' displays data recorded at a water shed. The last 40 records will be graphed. The date of recording will be displayed on the bottom of the graph.
