BC stats has devoted considerable effort of the years to develop and improve a
wide range of information products that illuminate socio-economic characteristics in small areas of the province.
What sets these apart from statistical tables and data sets is the presentation—including maps,
charts, rankings, comparisons, distributions, and more. Each is intended to tell a story about a particular
area and the people that live there. Most rely on a single, but very rich, data source—the census.
The items listed under 'Current' combine information from a number of data sources.
The approximate number of regions/profiles appears in square brackets: [].
