Question

Who can submit an expression of interest to COMRIF’s Asset Management Program?

Answer

All municipalities in Ontario considered eligible under COMRIF can submit an expression of interest for Asset Management Program (AMP) funding. These are municipalities with a population of less than 250,000, including lower-tier municipalities in the regional municipalities of Durham, Halton, Niagara, Peel, Waterloo and York.

Local Services Boards that own and operate their water and wastewater systems can also submit an expression of interest. These are: Armstrong, Foleyet, Gogama, Moose Factory, Peace Tree, Rossport and Thorne.
