Talk to someone from the Lake Huron Friendship Club, they will give you a long list of happenings at the Community Centre with everything from annual Fish Fry Nights to weekly card games and shuffleboard. The Point Clark Kinsmen Club help everyone celebrate Canada Day with an impressive display of fireworks that light up the night sky over Lake Huron creating a truly memorable image.

Huron-Kinloss boasts two friendly villages full of community spirit, Lucknow and Ripley. These communities are rich in history dating back more than 150 years. Both communities are homes to active horticultural society's, the beautiful beds about the villages attest to the success of the planters. Both villages entertain visitors with their fall fairs illustrating the strong ties to the farming industry.

In June, enjoy the fruits of the land at the Lucknow Strawberry Summerfest. Strawberries never tasted this good before ! This annual event also features a car show and farmer's market in addition to their famous strawberry breakfast. Lucknow's bustling downtown hosts a variety of businesses as well as a busy arena and community center.

Ripley is in the geographical center and home of the township offices. Within the village you will find a variety of services including the Ripley-Huron Community Centre. This facility is well used by seniors, youngsters and their parents. Many artists have made Ripley their home and invite you to try your hand at the pottery wheel or blowing stained glass right there on the premises.
