Geographic Information Services develops, maintains and
distributes the province’s corporate, primary geographic information
including the Nova Scotia Topographic Database, the Nova Scotia Coordinate
Reference System, the Nova Scotia Property Records Database, and the
Nova Scotia Aerial Photography Archive. Geomatics products consist
of maps, databases and aerial photographs. These are available
throughout the province at selected Land Registration Offices (LRO) offering Map Library Services and the Nova Scotia Geomatics Centre. |

The Nova Scotia Coastal Series consists of 132 color maps of the
province's coastal zone, extending to the 12-mile limit including
complete coverage for the Bay of Fundy.

This hardcopy atlas includes 92 pages of maps, a Gazetteer, and
a Nova Scotia Parks and Historic Sites listing.
Those familiar with the previous Book of Maps of Nova Scotia will
find this edition supporting a significantly larger page size with
easier to read text and symbology.
