About Us

The Network for Women Entrepreneurs (NWE) is intended to give women business owners access to people, programs, business information and services, such as networking opportunities, information on sources of financing, and other services tailored to the needs of businesswomen in Ontario. NWE works with an ever-broadening network of existing local business service providers to increase recognition of the specific needs of women and to understand the value of ensuring local business services are attuned to these perspectives.

The Network for Women Entrepreneurs is an Industry Canada program administered by the Canada-Ontario Business Service Centre (COBSC) and is intended to build upon existing federal, provincial and municipal business networks to avoid duplication and overlap.

The Network for Women Entrepreneurs (NWE) is a program committed to supporting women entrepreneurs in Ontario.

NWE provides women entrepreneurs with information on programs and services to start and grow their business as well as guidance in locating key community support services. We can be reached through a web portal and a toll free telephone line as follows:
