Books By Mail

If you live In Newfoundland and Labrador, you may use the Books-By-Mail Service to borrow books and resources from the Business Service Centre. Our clients are people who are interested in either starting their own business or who already own their own business. We also serve agencies and organizations who support business and economic development within the province.

How to Borrow?

Call, fax, mail, or email us and let us know the specific title or subject you are interested in.

Search our library catalog, then order titles online.

Check our monthly New Titles List for the most recent titles we've added to our collection, then order online.

How Much Can I Borrow and For How Long?

You may borrow a maximum of six items at a time, for a period of 4 weeks (6 weeks lending period Labrador). You may request an extension to the borrowing time by contacting us. If no other client has requested the item, we may extend the loan period.

How and When to Return Borrowed Materials?

When you are ready to return the library materials, place them in the reusable mail bag in which they arrived. (Instructions are provided in your package). Return the borrowed materials before the due date.

What is our Policy on Overdue Materials?

Clients with overdue materials will not receive further materials from the Business Service Centre until all overdue items have been returned or a replacement fee has been received.
