  • Youth Link is a guide, developed through the Governent of Canada's Youth Employment Strategy, to over 200 Government of Canada programs, services and resources for youth.

  • E-Spirit National Aboriginal Youth Business Plan Competition
  • The BDC sponsors an Internet-based national Aboriginal Youth Business Plan Competition with online modules, mentoring and business plan template for Aboriginal youth in Grades 10-12.

  • The Young Millionaires Program
  • This program is designed to assist island youth, ages 8 to 16 by helping them get started in a business of their own by providing a maximum $100 non-repayable loan.

  • Start-up Financing for Youth
  • The CYBF provides youth with business start-up loans up to $15 000. Loan repayments of three or five years are available.

  • Expansion Financing for Youth
  • Existing CYBF Entrepreneurs that require additional funding, are between 36 to 60 months into operation, and want to expand their business can be eligible for a loan up to $10 000.

  • Succession Financing for Youth
  • Succession loans for youth who will attain 51% ownership within the first five years of operation of a company financed by CYBF.
