Youth Link is a guide, developed through the Governent of Canada's Youth Employment Strategy, to over 200 Government of Canada programs, services and resources for youth.

The BDC sponsors an Internet-based national Aboriginal Youth Business Plan Competition with online modules, mentoring and business plan template for Aboriginal youth in Grades 10-12.

This program is designed to assist island youth, ages 8 to 16 by helping them get started in a business of their own by providing a maximum $100 non-repayable loan.

The CYBF provides youth with business start-up loans up to $15 000. Loan repayments of three or five years are available.

Existing CYBF Entrepreneurs that require additional funding, are between 36 to 60 months into operation, and want to expand their business can be eligible for a loan up to $10 000.

Succession loans for youth who will attain 51% ownership within the first five years of operation of a company financed by CYBF.
