Hearing Aid Dealers and Consultants
The following is meant solely to help the reader understand the main features of primary regulations governing this activity, and not meant in any way to provide a legal interpretation.
Hearing Aid Act:
This Act provides the regulatory framework for hearing aid dealers and consultants operating in the province of British Columbia. Under this Act, powers are granted to the Board of Hearing Aid Dealers and Consultants to govern the qualifications, conduct and practice required of hearing aid dealers and consultants in B.C.
The board maintains a register of each registrant, which may be inspected by the public at the office of the Registrar, Hearing Aid Dealers and Consultants in Victoria.
A licensee must prominently display his/her current license at his/her place of business or employment and must maintain adequate records.
