Tugboat Worker Lien Act:
This Act provides that an owner of a tugboat, who performs towage, has a lien (legal claim) on the logs or timber products towed for the amount of money payable. The lien lapses 30 days after the towage was performed unless an affidavit is filed in the office of the registrar of the Supreme Court within the territorial limits of which the towage terminated. The lien is enforceable by action in the Supreme Court within the territorial limits of which the towage terminated. Generally, the lien will lapse unless the action is brought within 30 days after the filing of the affidavit.

Insurance Act (Marine):
A contract of marine insurance is a contract by which the insurer undertakes to indemnify the assured, in the manner and to the extent agreed in it, against marine losses, that is to say, the losses incident to marine adventure.
