The College of Dental Hygienists of British Columbia is the regulatory body established to govern the practice of Dental Hygiene in BC. In 1994 cabinet approved the Dental Hygienists Regulation which designates dental hygiene as a regulated profession pursuant to the Health Professionals Act. Registrants of the College may perform the acts set out in the Dental Hygienists Regulation.
